Who we are

ADKO SEO (“we”, “us”) is an independent local-search marketing agency operating the website adkoseo.com. We provide local-SEO and local-SEM services to our own and to client businesses.

Scope of this policy

This policy explains what information we handle in the course of our public website and our client services, how we use Google APIs, and the choices available to you. It applies to adkoseo.com and to the tooling we use to deliver client work.

Information we handle

From our public website we collect only what is needed to operate it securely, such as basic server logs. We do not sell personal information.

When delivering services for a client, we handle business and marketing data related to that client's Google presence, for example Google Business Profile details, ranking data, keyword and search-volume data, and advertising campaign settings and performance.

Use of Google APIs

We use Google APIs, including the Google Ads API and the Google Business Profile API, to deliver marketing services for our clients. The Google Ads API is used for keyword and search-volume research and, for advertising clients, to help create and manage local search campaigns under our Google Ads manager account. The Google Business Profile API is used to audit and manage client business profiles.

We access Google accounts only where the account owner has granted us management rights, and only to the extent needed to provide the agreed services.

Limited use of Google user data

ADKO SEO's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide or improve the services requested by the account owner. We do not use it for advertising unrelated to those services, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide the service, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition. We do not allow humans to read this data unless we have the account owner's consent, it is necessary for security or to comply with law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized.

Data sharing and processors

We may use trusted service providers (for example hosting and analytics infrastructure) to operate our services. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Data retention and security

We keep data only as long as needed to provide our services or as required by law, and we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. Access to client and Google data is restricted to authorized personnel.

Your choices

A client can ask us to access, correct, or delete the data we hold on their behalf, and can revoke our access to their Google accounts at any time through their Google account settings. Contact us using the details below to make a request.

Governing privacy law

ADKO SEO is based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario law. Where we act as a service provider for a client, we process personal information on that client's instructions and for the purposes of the agreed services.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date shown above.
